Since 2008, Curry Town has established itself to be the finest restaurant in Otaki, New Zealand. Curry Town features authentic Indian and Malaysian Cuisine served in an elegant ambience. It is located in the Otaki town of New Zealand.

Managed and Owned by Mr. Kishan and Mrs.Leela Singh, Curry Town Restaurant is your best destination for great tasting, authentic Indian and Malaysian food in Otaki, with all your favourite Indian and Malaysian recipes.

We offer a wide variety of dishes to suit anyone and everyone. Whether you like something moderately mild or sensationally spicy, you’re sure to find something to tantalize your taste buds. And if you can’t make up your mind, our professional staff will be happy to help you in the right direction.

Our goal has always been to provide excellent food together with great service which is something we pride ourselves with. We have a strong emphasis on service, from the moment you arrive to the moment you leave, we’ll do our best to make your visit special.

We treat our customers as our guests. Hence, we believe in not only good customer service and reasonable price, but are also dedicated to the quality of food. Customer satisfaction is our motto and central to our service.

Curry Town restaurant has a seating capacity of about 70 guests and also offers takeaway menus and can organize private functions for upto 60 people. We also provide catering for every occasion; anniversaries, birthdays, graduations, corporate functions or any other special event. For all your catering needs, please contact the restaurant you wish to cater food from.

I have visit here 3 times now and would definitely return at any opportunity. The service was first class, on the last visit a group of 6 of us (I raved about this place to many friends) were instantly seated and given menu’s. Drinks were ordered and arrived quickly. We all ordered a variety of dishes so that we could sample the array available, these arrived in a timely manner. Every dish was delicious, the plates were clean at the end of the meal! The waiters were friendly and helpful, as they always are. And to top it all off the prices are very reasonable. Myself and my partner have searched the Wellington region for the last 4 years in search of a decent curry, we have now found it. Top notch restaurant, I will be back!

Dined here on Saturday night. The food and the service were excellent. We had 4 dishes between us, and all were enjoyed. It is fabulous having a great Indian restaurant in little ole Otaki.

Last night we had a family banquet and it was excellent. This was the best Indian meal I have ever had with lots of variety and we walked out with a doggy bag as there was no way we could eat it all. The service was friendly and timely. I have no hesitation in recommending this restaurant and the naan bread is to die for.

Awesome place! have been here twice now, first time a couple of years ago and then the second 2 weeks ago. The first Indian place I have been to that actually gives you enough rice for the table!!! Food is great too!

We really enjoy Curry Town. Wonderfully helpful and friendly staff. Superb food and generous helpings. Our problem is what to choose as it all sounds so delicious. Sadly my husband is not a fan of Curry Town but when he’s away I head there immediately. The Onion Bhaji is light and crispy, the raita fresh. Would highly recommend the Peshwari Naan and the Chicken tikka lababdah. Have been over and over and will be back soon.

Always delicious and authentic tasting. We come here for the Indian food not the Malaysian delicious. Main meals are always hot, tasty and usually correctly spiced according to your preference. Would recommend delicious sides of fresh bread and raita to accompany a hot choice. Occasionally gets busy with a long wait but this is testament to their excellent reputation in Otaki for the best Indian!
